This natural aromatic sndal paste is prepared after grinding sndal wood on stone and mixing with water. This paste is applied as a tilak on forehead for deeper meditation and auspiciousness. It offers coolness to the mind and stills the thoughts. It is also offered to god idols during puja rituals as a tilak. This is the same sndal paste which is used in major Krishna temples.
